Automatic Account Codes
When you add a new account in the Chart of Accounts and choose a parent account, Mohaseb now fills the account code automatically with the first free code under that parent.
- Block-style parents ending in zeros: parent
1000→1001, and if taken →1002, and so on. - Hierarchical parents: parent
111with children1111–1114→ the suggestion is1115.
If you type a code yourself, it is never overwritten. When a parent is selected, the default purpose and sub-type fields are hidden — sub-accounts inherit them from their branch root.
Note: if no free code exists under the chosen parent, an alert asks you to enter the code manually. This works identically in the web dashboard and the mobile app.
